A local and national student event, sponsored locally by AEA 13. The AEA 13 competition was held on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs. This year's theme was Conflict and Compromise in History. The top two finishers in the regional contest now advance to State History Day, April 28 (junior division) and May 5 (senior division) at the State Historical Building in Des Moines.
