Below is the list of steps one should do and technology one should have prior to using our meeting rooms...

Make sure you have the following equipment installed on your computer:

1.       Head Phones or earbuds

2.      Microphone (if not connected to headphones/earbuds)

3.      Webcam (optional)

Next... Download and install the client

I.  Windows

a. Go to  http://www.aea13.org/misc/Marratech61Vista.msi click on run and follow the steps to install it

b. Things to consider after the installation:

• Periodically, when starting the Marratech Application a “Session Aborted” page may be displayed. Please minimize the page and start the application again.  It will work next time. This happens less than 10% of the time and has something to do with the compiled code working with new version of Java.
• Also this version cannot have a compatibility mode enabled.
• The Marratech 6.1 version will allow you to start multiple instances and be in more than one room at a time.

II. Macintosh

            Go to http://www.aea13.org/misc/marratech61.dmg   Save and then install it

Use your username (without the @aea13.org) and email password to log into a room (planet)

Go to Tools - Options and make the following changes:

1. Participants tab - update speed = high

2. Audio tab -  should look like this:

People outside of our AEA need to follow the above instructions to download and install the Marratech client. Their user name is: meet and password is: meetaea13

All the meeting rooms, with exception for “Earth– (unlimited)” which has an unlimited usage, have total of 10 concurrent connections at this time.  This means that the maximum number of 10 users can be online in one or any number of those rooms.  Once the limit is reached you will not be able to connect until someone logs off.
