Media Production

Services provided under Media Production include the following:

Button Machine and button parts: You have the ability to create your own button badges, a successful way to raise funds and promote educational and sporting events at your site. The machine is portable and can easily be scheduled out on loan. The button parts are priced at 12 cents per button.

Lamination: The Agency can laminate any flat paper products. Examples of materials to be laminated include charts, posters, pictures, maps, worksheets, flash cards, lunch tickets, book covers and signs. When you ship your item(s), please wrap or bundle them so as to avoid loss of pieces in the delivery system and be sure to complete the upper portion of the production request and attach with your order. Materials to be laminated must be no more than 26" wide.

Off Air Video Recording and Video Duplication: The Agency duplicates on 1/2" VHS format. Forms for off-air taping must be completed in full to ensure you will erase or destroy the tape when required. If you request duplication of copyrighted materials, you must include a copyright release from the producer.

The Agency's Media Production Department can assist you in accessing that vast wealth of educational programming, Iowa Public Television, in two ways:

  1. Programs currently being broadcast by IPTV can be recorded for classroom use, a schedule of current programming can be found on the web at www.iptv.org. Please note that in most cases, a request for recording must be made BEFORE the program airs.
  2. Programs from IPTV's K-12 catalog can be provided for classroom use, the K-12 catalog can be found on the web at http://www.iptv.org/k12catalog.
