Is there anything else we should know about how your district uses the Iowa Tests?

1. We do not have any formally identified special education students on IEP's.
2. No
3. No, we strictly follow the rules for administration.  We do know buildings are breaking students into smaller testing groups.  We use proper accommodations.
4. We use these scores as a qualifier for TAG. THe scores are also used for identification for Title I services, indicators for PLEP with Special Ed. as well as an indicator for classroom teachers on areas of curriculum that are strengths as well as weaknesses.
5. We use the ITBS/ITED results as part of the criteria to identify students for freshman course placement for math, language arts and science.  We also use ITBS data as part of our TAG identification in language arts and math.
6. We test all levels and all students every year.
7. Not at this time.
8. No.
9. No

District-wide Assessments - Districts were asked what assessments were being given at different grade levels.  The definition for a "district-wide assessment" is one that is given to ALL or nearly all students in a specified grade level.
